Description

Over 40 percent of marriages end in divorce, and most often it is the man who has been in charge of the finances, while the woman is left to wonder what to do next. For many women, gaining financial self-sufficiency is the first thing she needs to do after a divorce. This workshop will cover how to build a modest financial foundation and how to make plans for the future, which are necessary to make informed, responsible, financial decisions. We’ll discuss topics such as determining cash flow needs, budgeting, retirement planning, estate planning, reentering the workforce, and more. You will leave this workshop with an understanding of the basic steps needed to take control of your financial health after a divorce.
