Deborah N. Goodman, CFP®, CPA brings over 20 years of financial planning knowledge and client servicing experience to Goodman Advisory Group, LLC. Deborah is qualified in providing clients with a wide array of financial planning strategies and is passionate about finding ways to enhance the level of resources and services available to all our clients.
Deborah began her career in public accounting with the firm Arthur Andersen LLP where she earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining the firm, Deborah most recently worked as the Director of Financial Management for Acambis, Inc. a prominent vaccine company now a division of Sanofi-Aventis Group. Previously, Deborah held roles in the finance and accounting groups at Boston Scientific Corporation. These included managing the R&D finance function for its second largest operating division, Endoscopy, preparing the company’s SEC filings and handling the purchase accounting for the corporation’s many acquisitions.
Deborah obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. She is licensed as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM(CFP®), Certified Public Accountant and she also holds a Series 66 with LPL Financial and Goodman Advisory Group, LLC in the state of Massachusetts.
In her spare time, Deb enjoys biking, hiking and stepping off planes in faraway places.
